


Many top-Kdramas from the past start in a street like the cellar-basement. So, the atmosphere in Parasite I am pretty used to.

Need I say The Hong Sisters ? No Hong Sisters elsewhere.īeautiful cast that can really act too, instead of just looking good ? Very normal in Kdramaland. The English can do that too if they want, but the main Hollywood has long forgotten about that. Specialy when it is an historical and/or mystery-thing. My reason for Kdrama-addiction is because the often multi-level story and acting. When I want to explain, I really have to think how. Some people have seen Parasite, or at least the trailer. ( To be honest, the Korean congregation in Holland is pretty small, compared with other Asian groups). Hypes always attract a lot of people, and when next week some Donald Duck is a hype, the rest is forgotten. Now there is "Parasite", a hype here too. It is in a way, but if I talk to other people about my ongoing Drama-addiction for 11 years now, they still look strange to me, young and old.
